As many of you know, I’ve been constantly writing nearly as long as my little one has been alive. In that time I’ve ammassed numerous Word Docs, scrap peices of paper and half-notebooks filled with anecdotes and stories all about our little one and my growth as a parent.
Over the past two years, in my search to be as good a Dad as possible, I’ve found little in the world that supports and understands parents who are at a young age. To be a parent in your early twenties is not something many people see as a viable situation. It’s become almost taboo, especially for the millenial generation.
Coming this August, I’ll be releasing my first book: “The Fatherhood Chronicles: Becoming a Parent at 23 and Other Stories”. In it I’ll be sharing some deep memories, experiences and lessons learned. Some of them will be posts from this very site revisited, but most of it will be never before published works. It’s a collection of ideas, moments, successes and failures. But most of all it is about one thing: Parenting is universal.
It doesn’t matter how old you are, being a parent is being a parent. There is no “perfect Dad” or “perfect Mom” but we all strive for the same thing no matter what our circumstances: the success, health and wellbeing of our children.
In this book I explore all the facets of parenting through the lense of a now twenty-something 90’s kid.
Not everything is what you expect!
More details will be released soon, but please keep a look out on Amazon and Kindle!
